Founded in Shropshire, England, in 1999, BRITISH ANCESTORS has helped over 5,000 clients worldwide trace their British roots.

British Ancestors , the trading name of BA Research Services Ltd., operates from Shropshire, England and has been providing family history services since 1999. Under the direction of co-founders Keith and Carol Spillar, a network of researchers throughout England and Scotland has provided a quality research service at relatively low cost to over 5,000 satisfied clients worldwide.
Our sister company, Ancestor Seekers LLC, was established in Salt Lake City in 2004 to provide research assistance at the Family History Library. British Ancestors and Ancestor Seekers have since co-sponsored four highly successful week-long research trips to Salt Lake City, welcoming hundreds of guests from throughout the United States, Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand.
